The Video Race Is On!

Since VDJ was out first with video features, PCDJ had a chance to see what works and what doesn't.

I'm sure that PCVJ will be of the same caliber as PCDJ VRM.

I miss the old Red, it is still the fastest around!

I would have loved to see the Delphi Code in the old Red and run it through my C# converter...

They will have some similarities, and other complete differences. I think we are focusing more on the video side of things, for both the casual mobile user that wants to add some video to the mix, and the professional that needs a little more out of video manipulation. All I can say is try it when its out. I'm sure some will prefer VDJ, some will prefer our VJ product, different strokes for different folks. Just like there isn't just one hardware manufacturer, there will never be just one software developer. People will have their on preference, be it as simple as how our recordcase works, or even as simple as how the interface looks.

It's exciting really, companies like ours and VDJs are really the first to kick off what is an obvious evolution in digital DJ technology. Now you'll start seeing more hardware with built in software support and the ability to use an removable media, just like the cortex products and the new numark products shipping later this year. CD players will be completely obsolete in 4 years, rack that. We will adapt to the needs of this market, I can assure you that. With our recent partnership with D1 Media, the sky is the limit and we can start realizing many of our dreams we've had for the past 7 years...
