Where are there any clubs around that want techno anymore? Every freaking body wants to here hip hop (booty). It drives me nutts. I am a house/trance/techno guy myself but can't find anywhere that likes it. I think I would move if I could find somewhere to spin fun.

Foam partys
somewhere I could use a strobe
you know fun

i was just asking that on another thread. I love trance, but out here (Colorado), most clubs treat it like it's a dirty word. If the club isn't completely hip hop, the only club stuff they play seems to be breaks.

Unfortunately that is a generational thing.. The much younger 18-24 generation don't appreciate trance or the electronic music movement.

Their willingness to accept new forms of music doesn't reach past their FM dial.

In some cases.. I have been very impressed with that demo around here with the amount of progressive house/trance I play!

does anyone have simon harris's - beats, breaks & scratches on cd? I used to have 3 or 4 volumes. I really want a few of them again on cd.

Move to florida..

We have our share of hip hop clubs, but most down in our notorious Ybor City (Tampa) play Florida Breaks or House/Dance. More and more of that cheesy Euro Dance though.....I am so over that crap...
